Lead a growing team that administers over $1.5 billion in state homelessness funding to counties, cities and homeless continuum of care organizations. Lead the development and implementation of California's first ever statewide homeless data integration system which will aid the state in making data-driven policy decisions aimed at preventing and ending homelessness in our state. Oversee the state's Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council as well as the development and implementation of the state's action plan for addressing homelessness.

Oversaw over $250 million in housing and homelessness programs for the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). Led the implementation of the Bringing Families Home program, the Housing and Disability Advocacy Program, and the Adult Protective Services Home Safe program. Directed the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Housing Support Program and the CalWORKS Homeless Assistance Program. Oversaw the Department's Civil Rights Unit which is responsible for ensuring CDSS and local county welfare department (CWD) compliance with federal and state civil rights law.
